The contours of the tower become thinner and swell depending on the angle from which it is viewed. The tower has a glass – aluminum curtain wall system. Part of the relatively transparent low-E glass is covered with perforated aluminum screens. These single-ply, silver-painted panels stand 4 inches from the glass, have a width of 2 cm, and are 30 to 60 percent clear. The building, which has the traditional Arabian mashrabiya culture, defies the desert sun with its cage work and adapts to the regional privacy traditions.
