The architectural features of the Dubai Fountain are truly remarkable. Situated on the Burj Khalifa lake in Downtown Dubai, this impressive structure was designed by WET Design, renowned for its work on notable fountains such as the Hotel Lake fountains in Las Vegas. Construction began in October 2008 and was completed by mid-May 2009, with the aim of showcasing Dubai’s captivating image to visitors.Spanning an impressive length of 275 meters and width of 100 meters, the fountain covers a vast area of 12 hectares. During its construction, a sophisticated mechanism capable of spraying 22,000 gallons (83,000 liters) of water was meticulously engineered. To enhance its visual appeal, over 6,600 lights and 25 colored projectors were installed, illuminating the city in a captivating manner. The fountain is also equipped with a state-of-the-art sound and light system, providing an immersive experience for visitors. The combination of stunning visuals and synchronized music creates a delightful spectacle that leaves a lasting impression.The Dubai Fountain incorporates numerous high-pressure water jets designed by WET Design. Additionally, water shooters have been integrated, capable of propelling water up to 73 meters (240 feet) into the air, along with Extreme shooters that can reach an impressive height of 500 feet (152.4 meters).
